Halloween/October Theme Activities

Mouse Saw...Halloween (CS-3): Created with templates from
The Writing Bin (www.LearningMagicInc.com) this is a simple companion activity
to the book,"Mouse's First Halloween" by Lauren Thompson. Students can select a
photograph of something Mouse sees to create a book of their own. Text is
automatically placed on pages giving student exposure to the words to match
their pictures.

Mouse's First Halloween (DV4/MT4, V/Vmax): Lucy shares our
affection for little Mouse. Here's a page for your Dynavox devices so that
children can read right along! Thanks, Lucy!
Mouse's
First Halloween (CS-3): Our favorite little mouse is exploring the house
this October. He sees some pretty confusing stuff! Mouse decides it's "not
so scary, after all!" Based on the book, Mouse's First Halloween,
this writing activity lets users play with the objects in the story and decide
how they feel about them.
What's
Up Jack? (CS-3): Jack O'Lantern is having a confusing day. This simple
click-through storybook explores emotions with animation, text and
familiar concepts.

Ghost Cookies (DV4/MT4, V/Vmax): Lucy Nutt has cooked up another
fun page for the Dynavox devices to make ghost cookies. Yummy!
Pick
A Word Patch (BM6): An open content articulation board with pumpkins
for you to write your students' target words on.

Big
Pumpkin sentence strips (BM6): These are sentence strips to go
along with the book, Big Pumpkin. Simply cut out the strips and
attach to the pages of your book using strips of contact paper.

Halloween Spatial Concepts (BM6): A cute worksheet to address
spatial concepts. Where's that ghost? He's beside, in front, on top,
and behind the pumpkin! Can your student fill in the blanks?
