Holly and Vicki are at it again with the new and improved Dynamic AAC Goals Grid, hot off the presses at Dynavox!  We will be presenting a FREE webinar through Dynavox on May 21st from 12-1 to introduce (and SHARE!) the newest tool for assessing communicative competence and writing goals for AAC users.  CEUs are available for ASHA certified speech language pathologists.

Description: In the era of Evidence Based Practice, are you struggling to come up with applicable, research-based IEP objectives for your AAC students? Need to show measurable progress to insurance and Medicaid to validate your work? Learn how to use a Dynamic AAC Goals Grid to choose appropriate, measurable AAC goals to meet patient needs and document their gains. The revised Dynamic AAC Goals Grid (DAGG-2) includes five communication ability levels with over 100 goals addressing Linguistic, Operational, Social and Strategic competency as well as additional components for writing long and short-term goals. Using real-life case studies, this session will highlight using the DAGG-2 for initial assessment, goal writing and measuring progress. This course is offered for .1 ASHA CEUs (Intermediate level, Professional area). This course will be recorded and available for CEUs within 48 hours of the live session.

I am based in New Zealand (which is at 4am when you are running the webinarbut am interested in viewing this free webinar. Could it be made available through your website after the webinar?
Thanks for considering this.

Do we need to register to watch it later through the website? I will not have access to internet at the time of the webinar.

You can watch webinars anytime on Dynavox's website. You don't have to register for the recorded ones. I believe you have to create an account for yourself but then you'll have access to all of their trainings. They have quite a few really good ones. Our whole staff just did one on WordPower. Worth checking out!

Hi Carolyn, it was actually posted last week but I am checking with Dynavox for you to see if it is really full or if that's an error. I will let you know. It is going to be recorded and available for CEUs 48 hours after the webinar. You'll also be able to access the forms afterwards too. We are talking about doing some follow up question and answer chats later in the summer. Thanks for your interest!

Hello All, there seems to be a glitch in the registration page at Dynavox that says the class is full BUT, it's not! Just go ahead and click the register button and it will let you sign up!

Hi Liz,
Here is the link on Dynavox's website to download all of the forms. https://www.mydynavox.com/Resources/AACGoalWriting You have to create an account (it's free) and then you can access the forms. The writable ones are nice because you can zoom in and see them better (believe me, I KNOW, just bought another pair of readers!).
