	Our Mission Dynamic Therapy Associates, Inc. is a family-focused speech language pathology, occupational therapy and assistive technology practice. Our specialty is augmentative communication (AAC) and other assistive technologies (AT) addressing academics and communication. We utilize state-of-the-art technology for patients at all levels of functioning for the earliest learners, non-verbal and low-verbal patients, and those who are simply fine-tuning their strategies and skills. Our patients receive innovative treatment options through our on-going professional relationships with several assistive technology manufacturers and software companies. Our website is a forum for us to share information between ourselves, our parents and other professionals who strive to better the lives of our friends with communication & developmental difficulties. 				What's New? Dynavox Training for Parents and SLPs! AAC and Autism is presented June 2nd, 2009, 8:30 AM - 3:00 PM by Bethany Diener. This is a wonderful, FREE opportunity for families and professionals! Click here for details! Welcome to our newest staff speech language pathologist! We are so excited to welcome our newest therapist, Kinsey Powell, M.A. CCC-SLP, to our office! Kinsey joins us as of June 1, 2009 in a full-time speech language pathologist position. Kinsey is a nationally certified, Georgia licensed SLP who has experience working with ages kindergarten through adult. We're thrilled to have the opportunity to introduce you to this dynamic new therapist! Welcome, Kinsey! Newly Enhanced Speech Generating Device & Augmentative Communication Evaluation and Services! In an on-going effort to provide state-of-the-art augmentative communication services, we are making positive changes to our service delivery for SGD/AAC evaluations. As of August 1, 2009, we will begin offering a package of AAC services with every device evaluation we conduct. We will no longer conduct single visit speech generating device evaluations, in an effort to offer the most appropriate, effective training and support so that you will receive the maximum benefit from any new equipment we recommend. New Scholarships for Special Needs: Kiddos’ Clubhouse Foundation is awarding $2,500 scholarships to families who demonstrate the financial and therapeutic need for their children. Their goal is to provide a scholarship each quarter. The money can be used to pay for therapy services anywhere or therapy equipment. We all know families who have struggled to pay for therapy and have had to stop due to financial reasons. The application can be accessed on the web site: www.kiddosclubhousefoundation.org The deadline for the next scholarship is June 30^th. Congratulations to Jessica & Chris! One of our wonderful SLPs, Jessica Johnson married her long-time boyfriend Chris Busbee on May 16th in a beautiful ceremony in Ponte Vedra, Florida. We are welcoming Mrs. Busbee back home on May 26th. Best wishes from all of us here at DTAinc!
