In this video we are considering how to assess the communication skills of students who are minimally speaking by sampling their natural communication.  We are using the Communication Sampling and Analysis program, available on-line, which allows us to gather a sample in a systematic way, and analyze it.  The online program analyzes the means of communication and the function of communication, allowing us to design intervention specifically targeted at progressing our individual student's skills.
