Maranda received her undergraduate degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from University of Wisconsin-Madison and her Master's of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. Prior to working at DTA, she worked at an outpatient pediatric clinic, providing assessments and treatment for speech sound disorders, language, feeding, and primarily AAC. She is passionate about helping children of all abilities communicate, play, and learn in a child-led manner. Her goal is to meet each child and family where they are, collaborate on functional goals, and provide strategies to support skill development in all environments.

When Maranda is not working, you will find her doing a variety of outdoor activities including walking, fishing, and spending days at the lake (when Wisconsin weather permits). She also enjoys thriller/crime novels and playing a variety of board games with friends and family.
